SERVICE INCLUDES:
Face includes bridle path, whiskers, and long jaw hair. (Ears and eyes if requested)
Legs refer to fetlock and coronet. (Unless otherwise specified)
Body has a choice of 12 different clips depending on horses discipline and amount of exercise. (bib, neck & belly, neck belly & top of front legs, apron, Irish, low trace, medium trace, high trace & half of head, chaser, blanket, hunter, and full.)
We provide 4 different size clippers: body, large, medium, and face clippers.
Before and After:
We will not clip a horse if he has no prior exposure to clippers. It is not fair to twitch or drug an otherwise calm horse who simply needs time to get accustomed to clippers. The owner, prior to clipping, should expose horse to clippers for 5 minutes a day if the horse has never been clipped before. However, we are more than willing to work with the horse at an hourly rate.
*For above services twitches, restraints, and tranquilizers are not used because One Fine Equine believes in helping a horse understand versus forcing them into submission.
